Break from the sand and sun and spend your Sunday mornings at one of Sanibel Island’s most beloved seasonal attractions: The Sanibel Island Farmers Market.

Open every Sunday from October 1st through May 27th in the heart of Sanibel Island’s civic core, immerse yourself in a once-a-week local bazaar host to the best local produce and seafood, homemade baked goods, locally owned retail boutiques and more!

Though Sanibel is generally a sleepy beach town, the energy at the Sanibel Farmers Market is electric. Locals, visitors, and families alike descend on the local market by the hundreds to snag the best of the best local items and food. Established in 2008, the Sanibel Island Farmers Market is one hundred percent a “must-do” Sanibel Island activity.

Shop local honey, French pastries, freshly caught seafood, locally sourced eggs, homemade soap and so much more. Oh, but don’t forget to come hungry! Indulge in freshly made crepes, acai bowls, guacamole, meatballs, smoothies barbeque, empanadas, shrimp salad and more!

The Sanibel Island Farmers Market is located at 800 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, Florida 33957. To get to the market from Pelicans Roost, take Donax Street north to Periwinkle Way. On Periwinkle Way, take a left and head west for 2.5 miles until you reach Dunlop Road. Follow Dunlop Road until you see the market.

Parking is in the lots at Sanibel City Hall, Sanibel Library, BIG Arts, Schoolhouse Theater. Bicycles can be parked at the designated area at City Hall. Handicap parking is located at City Hall.

We encourage you to get to the market as early as possible, crowds get heavy and parking gets limited as the event enters the afternoon hours.

With just one month left to go until the Sanibel Island Farmers Market closes until Fall 2018, now is the time to experience this one-of-a-kind Sanibel Island event.
